A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with the following qualifications:

Job Overview: The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling private offerings, general venture capital and tech company corporate transactions, public company representation, and public offerings. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant law firm experience in Corporate Law, exceptional communication skills, and be highly motivated.

Duties:

• Conducted legal research and analysis of corporate transactions and public offerings.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and prospectuses.
• Assist in due diligence investigations and preparation of transactional documents.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients on corporate governance matters.
• Represent clients in negotiations and meetings with opposing parties.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant law firm experience with private offerings, general venture capital and tech company corporate transactions, public company representation, and public offerings.
• Membership to the WV State Bar.
• Excellent academic credentials with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Membership to the WV State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
