Duties

• Represent public agency and private sector clients in labor and employment litigation and counseling matters.
• Manage matters through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals.
• Advise clients on personnel and employment-related issues.
• Lead significant portions of litigation matters and collaborate with junior team members.
• Help mentor and develop attorneys within the practice group.
• Participate in practice and client development efforts.

Requirements

• 5-12 years of litigation experience; labor and employment experience preferred.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage complex matters and bring projects to completion.
• Interest in mentoring and developing junior attorneys.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building client relationships.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California bar license in good standing.
