Job Overview:

The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will handle complex employment-related claims and provide strategic legal counsel to employers. This role includes litigation responsibilities in a variety of legal settings and requires working directly with clients to offer proactive advice on compliance with labor and employment regulations.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and contract disputes.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration across employment matters, including class/collective actions.
• Provide counsel to employers on labor and employment law compliance and proactive legal strategies.
• Engage in legal research, and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documentation.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies while collaborating with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in employment law.
• Active admission to the Nevada Bar or the ability to obtain admission quickly.
• Familiarity with court procedures and state/federal employment-related agency protocols.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance.

Certifications:

• Nevada State Bar membership or the ability to gain membership promptly.
