Duties:

• Client Intake & First Meetings:
  • Build trust with clients through empathy and clear communication.
  • Document essential case details related to liability, damages, and insurance coverage.
  • Establish a clear roadmap of actions to effectively posture the case.
• Investigation:
  • Oversee investigative efforts to support case development and preparation for trial.
  • Evaluate insurance coverage and gather crucial evidence.
• Negotiation:
  • Prepare cases for potential trial and determine Full Settlement Value.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with insurance adjusters while negotiating settlements.
  • File lawsuits when necessary and guide clients through the litigation process.
• Litigation:
  • Draft pleadings and conduct discovery related to lawsuits.
  • Strategize trial preparation and engage in mediation or arbitration as needed.
• General Responsibilities:
  • Review and sign off on correspondence prepared by team members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to streamline case progression and ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

• Strong ability to empathize with clients and build effective relationships.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar membership.

Certifications:

• Valid license to practice law in Texas.

Skills:

• Litigation and settlement negotiation expertise.
• Knowledge of personal injury laws and case management processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
