A law firm seeks a Real Estate Transactional Associate for its Nashville, TN office. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience in real estate transactions, including lending and joint venture financing, with a preference for tax credit transaction experience.

Duties

• Draft senior, real estate secured loan documents and joint venture agreements.
• Review title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys.
• Oversee paralegal title and survey review.
• Represent clients in real estate financings and construction loans.
• Engage in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial leases.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Tennessee.
• Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Experience with real estate lending and joint venture financing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in Tennessee.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Ability to review and analyze title and survey documents.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
