The law firm is seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior to Midlevel Patent Agent specializing in Life Sciences. The ideal candidate will contribute to the firm's success through their expertise in patent prosecution, exceptional communication skills, and a strong background in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry. Duties:

• Conduct patent prosecution activities, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the field of Life Sciences.
• Collaborate with attorneys, inventors, and clients to gather necessary information for patent filings.
• Perform patentability and freedom-to-operate searches and analyses.
• Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property matters to clients.

Requirements:

• Hold a degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry, or a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
• Admission to the USPTO is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience at a law firm or in-house.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Education:

Degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry, or B.S. in Chemical Engineering.

Certifications:

Admission to the USPTO is preferred.
