Litigation Law Paralegal
The candidate will assist with all aspects of litigation including discovery, document preparation, legal research, trial preparation, and trial assistance. Assist attorneys in preparation for hearings and trials, assist with discovery and investigating facts, research, and other miscellaneous duties. Effectively prioritize work and monitor deadlines. File and retrieve court documents electronically for State and Federal court in Kentucky and Indiana. Track and type your time in LMS billing system. Assist with information management by organizing, indexing, and tracking files, and assisting attorneys in managing client contacts, emails, and hard documents. Proofread all documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, and content. Maintain client confidentiality. Other duties as assigned. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office; including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Relatively eDiscovery software, Nuance PDF Converter, WorkSite/iManage, Records Retention and Trail Director or similar trial presentation software is required.
