Duties

• Represent clients in commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts

• Draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda, including dispositive and procedural motions

• Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of commercial issues

• Manage discovery, including depositions, document review, and production

• Participate in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations

• Collaborate with partners and clients in developing litigation strategy

• Maintain case files and coordinate with opposing counsel and court staff

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in commercial litigation

• Background handling complex business disputes or similar matters

• Strong courtroom presence and familiarity with litigation procedures

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar

• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Client-facing experience preferred
