Community Faculty - Accounting Summer 2019
The candidate will teach Intermediate Accounting or Advanced Accounting in the College of Management’s undergraduate accounting program. Must have Master’s degree with 24+ semester credits in accounting (undergraduate or graduate). CPA, CMA or CIA certificate is required. Must have 2+ years full-time employment in accounting. Must have knowledge of and commitment to serving a culturally, ethnically, and linguistically diverse student population. Must have ability to accommodate teaching evening courses in multiple locations throughout the Twin Cities area. Ph.D. or D.B.A or MBT or JD degree is preferred. Substantial professional experience in accounting is preferred. Teaching experience or equivalent, with teaching accounting at the university level is preferred. Online and/or web enhanced (hybrid) teaching experience is a plus.
