Duties

• Advise clients on complex tax issues at all stages of tax controversy matters.
• Identify and manage potential tax controversies in transactions.
• Collaborate with government agencies to minimize and resolve disputes.
• Participate in litigation and team with appellate practice for tax appeal victories.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex tax disputes.
• Experience with corporate, partnership, and international tax matters.
• Familiarity with SALT and criminal tax issues.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of Illinois or eligibility to waive in.
