Vice President, Product Marketing
The candidate will lead marketing team efforts in defining, managing, and executing product strategy and market positioning, brand awareness (including public relations), and sales support. Will become an expert on customer needs, market dynamics, company capabilities, competitive landscape, and product differentiation. Deeply collaborate with our Product and Sales Teams to develop a thoughtful product positioning and messaging strategy that will resonate with our target buyer personas. Define buyer personas types – who they are, how they buy, and what key criteria guides their buying decision process based on each buyer persona. Identify customer successes and pain points. Share insights from prospects and customers. Planning the launches of new products and releases for existing products. Product positioning and differentiation guidance for the sales team. Develop a strategic marketing plan for our product(s) including formulating marketing investments and operating budgets needed to achieve company revenue goals, new customer growth objectives, and retention of existing customers. Establish KPIs and develop a comprehensive closed-loop marketing program to measure and monitor key metrics and ROI from marketing programs. Optimize and recommend improvements to marketing campaigns based on results. Build marketing models and playbooks which allow us to scale and automate manual tasks so that the team is focused on strategic problem solving. Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies and go-to-market plans by sector that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption among target customers for company’s offerings. Build an amazing team by hiring, leading, and managing great marketers. Provide strategic direction, prioritization, and oversight of our branding and awareness efforts as it relates to our public relations strategy, our complete digital footprint (web, social media, email campaigns etc.), and physical presence at events and conferences. Lead strategic direction of content creation (e.g. sales presentations and documentation, sell sheets, product videos, case studies, website copy, landing pages, social media, etc.) that clearly articulates the use cases and differentiation of our products to drive marketing and sales qualified leads and engage customers. Source and manage internal and external third-party resources to execute digital marketing campaigns, content ideas, and strategies. Demonstrate a strong commitment to partnering with sales to deliver on revenue targets by developing and executing a well-defined strategy and program for lead generation (marketing qualified leads). Guide and support sales team on the problems firm solve for buyers and users by developing internal tools and external collateral.
