Duties

• Independently manage a caseload of complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support strategic decision-making.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other essential litigation documents.
• Represent clients in depositions and court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Maintain effective communication with courts, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Keep current with legal developments and industry trends.
• Draft articles for publication and assist with marketing practice.

Requirements

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar required; New York admission a plus.
• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience in a sophisticated legal environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software.
• Knowledge of e-discovery and electronic documentation management.
• Self-motivated and analytical, with strong critical-thinking skills.
• Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to provide innovative legal solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in New York and New Jersey.
