A law firm seeks a motivated Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney in Lake Mary, FL. Candidates with some litigation experience are preferred, but those with strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Duties

• Assist with and progressively take ownership of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents under attorney supervision.
• Conduct legal research and contribute to the development of case theory and litigation strategy.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings as experience develops.
• Communicate with clients professionally and manage case updates and expectations.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to develop litigation skills and substantive expertise in commercial law.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; active bar license in good standing.
• Some commercial litigation experience preferred, but new admittees and early-career attorneys are encouraged to apply.
• Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn from senior counsel.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment with direct mentorship from experienced litigators.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in good standing.
