Job Overview: A law firm in Portland, OR, is seeking a motivated Entry-Level to Mid-Level Tax Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with securities and finance lawyers, collaborate with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials nationwide, and have the opportunity to interact directly with clients. Duties:

• Collaborate with securities and finance lawyers to provide comprehensive tax advice.
• Work on complex transactions and contribute to the development of innovative tax strategies.
• Interact directly with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal counsel.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and inform strategic decisions.
• Assist in public finance matters and other transactional tax projects as needed.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of legal experience.
• Must be admitted to practice law in Oregon.
• LL.M. in Taxation is required.

• Experience in public finance or other transactional tax areas.
• Familiarity with tax implications in various industries.
