A law firm seeks a highly qualified associate with over three years of experience to join its Private Equity Group in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset management M&A, particularly in GP stakes transactions, and a broad understanding of corporate and transactional matters.

Duties

• Collaborate effectively in team settings and manage transaction components independently.
• Engage in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, and growth equity transactions.
• Handle venture capital transactions and exits, as well as equity compensation matters.
• Maintain and manage relationships with internal and external clients and counsel.

Requirements

• Over three years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong experience in asset management M&A, with a focus on GP stakes transactions preferred.
• Proactive approach with strong business acumen and communication skills.
• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in Massachusetts.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the resident office's location.
