Duties

• Conduct approximately fifteen hearings monthly before the Board of Veterans' Appeals.
• Review medical and service records to prepare cases.
• Prepare clients for testimony and request necessary medical evaluations.
• Engage in legal research and draft hearing and post-hearing briefs.
• Collaborate with a case manager to manage case-related tasks.
• Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings via Zoom.

Requirements

• Admitted to the bar in a U.S. state or territory.
• VA accreditation preferred; experience in Veterans Disability or Social Security is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency with remote work tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in a U.S. state or territory.
