A law firm is seeking an Advertising, Marketing, And Promotions Partner in Manitowoc, WI. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters in traditional and new media. They will protect clients’ business interests and brand elements throughout campaign life cycles, counsel clients to avoid and respond to challenges, lead litigation, and cultivate strong client relationships.

Job Overview:

• Provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters in traditional and new media
• Protect clients’ business interests and brand elements in all aspects of a campaign’s life cycle
• Counsel clients to avoid and respond to challenges from government agencies, competitors, and consumers
• Lead litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, actively participate in business development initiatives

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters
• Protect clients’ business interests and brand elements throughout campaign life cycles
• Counsel clients to avoid and respond to challenges from government agencies, competitors, and consumers
• Lead litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, actively participate in business development initiatives

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials
• 10 years of specialized experience in advertising law
• Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
