Duties

• Prepare and respond to discovery demands and manage document production

• Draft and revise motions, legal briefs, subpoenas, and pleadings

• Conduct depositions and prepare summaries

• Attend virtual and in-person court appearances

• Maintain client relationships and provide regular case updates

• Collaborate with legal team on strategy and case management

• Utilize timekeeping and case management systems efficiently

Requirements

• 1–3 years of litigation experience

• Admitted to practice law in the state of New York

• Strong familiarity with court procedures and litigation protocols

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple case files and deadlines

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Strong legal research and writing capabilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
