A law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney for their Richmond, VA, location.

Job Overview:

The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for defending and litigating lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination. They will represent employers in different legal settings, including court, administrative agencies, mediation, and arbitrations. The associate attorney will also provide legal advice and counsel to employers on labor and employment laws and regulations.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations in employment matters.
• Provide advice and counsel to employers on labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• JD is from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 4+ years of litigation experience, preferably with a background in employment law.
• Active VA Bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.
• Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.
