Mid-level Finance and Lending Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm is seeking a Mid-level Finance and Lending Associate Attorney for their Dallas office. The Mid-level Finance and Lending Associate Attorney will be responsible for working in the Finance and Lending practice group. Experience representing lenders in the negotiation and documentation of loans is essential for this role.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and support to clients in the Finance and Lending practice group
• Assist with the negotiation and documentation of various types of loans
• Draft and review loan agreements, promissory notes, security agreements, and other related documents
• Conduct due diligence and research on finance and lending matters
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients on financing transactions
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in finance and lending

Requirements:

• Experience in finance, particularly in representing lenders
• Strong understanding of finance and lending principles and practices
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission via reciprocity
• 3-6 years of experience in finance and lending at a law firm or in-house legal department
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
