Trademark Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Jackson is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is desirable. Superior writing and communication skills are a must, and foreign language proficiency is highly valued.

Duties:

• Conduct trademark searches and analyses
• Develop and implement global trademark strategies
• Handle domestic and international trademark prosecution
• Enforce trademark rights through legal actions
• Manage TTAB proceedings, online, and social media enforcement
• Represent clients in UDRP proceedings
• Provide legal advice and counsel on trademark matters

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience in trademark law
• Experience with trademark searching and prosecution
• Familiarity with TTAB proceedings and UDRP proceedings
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
