A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Debt Finance Associate Attorney for its San Antonio, TX office.

Job Overview:

• Contribute significantly to the growth of strategic practices such as private credit, acquisition financing, special situations, restructuring, and private equity.
• Play a key role in secured lending matters, including acquisitions, restructuring, and corporate finance.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring, and corporate finance.
• Lead signings and closings, overseeing the drafting of debt commitment papers and credit documentation.

Requirements:

• Admission to and membership in good standing of the Texas Bar.
• 7-10 years of relevant legal experience.
• Preferred experience as a pivotal member of deal teams.
• Familiarity with direct lending, special situation financings, and restructuring beneficial.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admitted to and a member in good standing of the Texas Bar.

Skills:

• Strong grasp of secured lending matters.
• Ability to effectively lead and manage deal teams.
• Proficient in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
• Knowledge of private equity-related corporate finance transactions is advantageous.
