Job Description:

What is the role?

Shell’s Information, Data & Analytics (IDA) is looking for skilled Design Authority - SME S/4 HANA Analytics to join the team in US. In this role, you would work on a wide variety of projects across Shell, engaging with the business to resolve challenges and deliver value by implementing analytic solutions leveraging data from S/4 HANA systems. The successful applicant will be a true technical expert (with hands-on experience) in the tools described below and will have a proven track record of delivering success in end to end, global project implementations.

Functional Skills:

Strong analysis skills.

Able to drive workshops with the business to gather requirements and translate those to technical design.

Solid oral and written communication skills. Must have ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as engage with various stakeholders.

Proven track record of personal development in terms of change of roles and skills. Candidate should be able to quickly retrain/reskill should demand change and require this. Ready and willing to learn as new opportunities and skills become available.

Ability to work independently without guidance or supervision.

Displays strong leadership skills and can coach and guide juniors within the team.

Can aid in estimating implementation efforts for project budgeting and planning purposes.

Experience with IT controls, compliance and security.

Experience with working in agile projects.

Experience with implementing Cloud, PaaS and SaaS solutions.

Experience with Continuous Improvement ways of working.

Ability to interpret customer requirements and turn into an estimated technical solution.

Preferably a good understanding of the Oil & Gas industry.

What we need from you

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

At least a Bachelor’s degree or post graduate in any discipline

Minimum of eight (8) years industry work experience.

Strong knowledge, skills and experience in SAP ERP and SAP analytics tools and services

Technical Skills:

Detailed understanding and experience with the SAP S/4 HANA analytics and related technologies.

Knowledge of SAP ERP data model

Fundamentals of SAP NetWeaver

Experience in CDS modelling and ABAP programming

Knowledge and/or experience of integrating ECC, SLT, SAP HANA and SAP BW.

Knowledge and experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BI, Fiori, Power BI

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its analytical tools and service
