Job Overview
An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen for a mid-senior level Real Estate Hospitality Associate within a global law firm’s DC office. The firm is recognized among the top in the Am Law Global 100, and the selected candidate will work on a range of commercial real estate and hospitality transactions, gaining substantial transactional experience. This position provides an excellent chance to collaborate with industry-leading experts and clients from various sectors.

Duties
Review, draft, and negotiate letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, leases, subleases, and financing documents.
Handle deal closings, perform title work, and manage due diligence.
Assist in forming and representing joint ventures and negotiating joint venture agreements.
Work on banking and loan transactions, particularly within hospitality transactions including hotels, resorts, and timesharing/shared ownership real estate.
Collaborate closely with senior shareholders on transactions.
Take the lead on some aspects of transactional real estate work, while learning and developing skills from more experienced attorneys.
Be proactive in anticipating client needs and managing transaction processes effectively.
Requirements
5-6 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on hospitality transactions preferred.
Experience in banking and loan transactions, joint ventures, and hospitality-related real estate.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Must be in good standing with the DC Bar or eligible to become admitted promptly.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Admission to the DC Bar or eligibility for admission.
Skills
