Job Details:

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and develop defense strategies for clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research and present well-reasoned arguments.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery documents, motions, and briefs to support defense strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, claims specialists, courts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Ensure prompt and efficient resolution of assigned cases.
• Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trials, hearings, and arbitrations.
• Bachelor’s degree with a J.D. and admission to the Bar in Colorado is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Litigation experience in both state and federal court is necessary.
• Strong writing skills and an excellent work ethic are essential.
• Experience drafting coverage analyses, motions, pleadings, and depositions is preferred.
• Must demonstrate strong research, writing, and independent thinking abilities.
• Capable of assuming primary responsibility for all aspects of assigned cases from pre-litigation analysis through trial and appeal.
• Proficiency in electronic practice management software for tracking billable hours.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with a J.D.
• Admission to the Bar in Colorado.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Litigation experience in state and federal court.
• Strong writing skills and excellent work ethic.
