Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group on the Financial Services Team in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience with various credit facilities and loan transactions.

Duties

• Document, negotiate, and close secured and unsecured credit facilities and loan transactions.
• Conduct due diligence for construction and real estate secured loans.
• Manage large commercial and corporate lending transactions from inception through post-closing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of sophisticated finance experience.
• Experience with LIHTC or other tax-credit projects preferred.
• Strong academic credentials and outstanding communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to exceptional client service.
• Preference for candidates in Colorado or Arizona.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona or eligible for admission.

• Proven ability to manage complex transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
