Core Tax Associate - Summer 2024
The candidate will be responsible for utilizing their educational background as well as communication and organizational skills by assisting with the preparation of tax returns and research. In this role, will be charged with utilizing basic research skills and working with tax software applications to complete simple tax returns for review. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics is required OR Bachelor's degree in another focus area and CPA certification is required. Master in Accountancy or Taxation preferred. Leadership experience preferred. Accounting-based internship preferred. Eligible to sit for the CPA exams; progress towards admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction; progress towards Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (“EA”) (or progress towards the equivalent of one of these designations) upon starting employment preferred. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
