Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate to join its corporate, securities, and mergers & acquisitions practice in Denver, Colorado. This position offers the opportunity to engage in diverse transactions for both emerging and established companies, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and governance, equity financings, and general corporate matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior partners and associates, gaining significant drafting experience, deal responsibility, and client interaction.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Collaborate with senior partners and associates on various deals.
• Manage components of transactions independently.
• Interact directly with clients to achieve their goals.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in Colorado with an active bar license or eligible for admission within one year.
• 2+ years of experience in corporate transactions, equity financings, or related areas.
• Experience in securities, mergers & acquisitions, or corporate governance preferred.
• Excellent law school academic credentials preferred.
• LLM in taxation is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in good standing in Colorado.
