Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate to join a growing and dynamic practice. The associate will handle a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, development, and finance. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, commercial leases, development-related agreements, and loan documents. The position offers opportunities for direct client contact and involvement in national transactions.

Location:

• Tysons Corner, VA

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, development, and finance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sale and purchase agreements, commercial leases, development agreements, and loan documents.
• Oversee due diligence efforts such as title and survey reviews.
• Work closely with clients on a variety of real estate transactions, including national transactions.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless transaction management.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be admitted to practice law in Virginia or eligible for reciprocal admission.
• Prior experience at a large regional or national law firm is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in Virginia or eligible for reciprocal admission.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
