A law firm seeks a highly motivated senior-level associate or special counsel with a strong background in real estate finance and lender representation to join their team in Parsippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience in commercial mortgage finance and the ability to manage deals independently.

Duties

• Represent lenders in the origination, purchase, sale, securitization, refinancing, and restructuring of mortgage and mezzanine loans.
• Advise lenders in complex financing arrangements with multiple layers of debt.
• Negotiate co-lender arrangements and intercreditor agreements.
• Organize, oversee, and prioritize multiple transactions simultaneously.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in commercial mortgage finance.
• Previous law firm experience preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent client-relation skills.
• Comfortable working with diverse clients.
• Top academic credentials and strong interpersonal skills.
• Bar admission in the attorney's resident and/or affiliated office.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
