Job Overview: A law firm in Mineola, NY, is seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney with at least 10 years of general corporate experience, including mergers and acquisitions, securities, joint ventures, finance, and general business transactions. Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus. The Corporate Attorney will play a key role in providing legal counsel and support to the firm's corporate clients.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, joint ventures, finance transactions, and general business activities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex corporate agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Conduct due diligence investigations and risk assessments in connection with corporate transactions.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends, especially within the healthcare sector.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other dispute-resolution processes.
• Assist in corporate compliance and governance matters, including regulatory compliance and corporate filings.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a focus on corporate law.
• Strong background in mergers and acquisitions, securities law, joint ventures, finance, and general business transactions.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a strong advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
