Job Overview:
A reputable personal injury law firm in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of litigation and trial experience. This position is ideal for a highly motivated attorney who can independently manage litigation cases from inception through trial with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, comfortable handling a high-volume caseload, and committed to delivering results for clients.

Location:

• Deerfield Beach, FL

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of personal injury litigation cases from pre-suit through trial

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including motion hearings, depositions, mediations, and jury trials

• Prepare and draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and trial documents

• Develop case strategy and conduct case evaluations independently

• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

• Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to achieve case objectives

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation and trial experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision

• Strong trial preparation and courtroom advocacy skills

• Excellent time management and organizational capabilities

• Ability to contribute effectively to a team-oriented environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida

• Member in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Civil litigation and personal injury law expertise

• Legal drafting, research, and motion practice
