Duties

• Handle complex personal injury protection claims, including evaluating damages and negotiating settlements.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Draft clear and persuasive legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Review and analyze medical records and insurance policies.
• Collaborate with clients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
• Stay informed about developments in various legal areas to provide comprehensive advice.
• Maintain meticulous records of all case activities within the law office management system.
• Support the legal administrative team by managing case files efficiently.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission.
• Proven experience in personal injury law or insurance defense is highly preferred.
• Strong background in litigation procedures and legal research.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable outcomes under pressure.
• Familiarity with a broad range of legal practice areas.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce precise legal drafting.
• Prior experience working in a busy law office environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
