Job Overview:
A well-established personal injury law firm in Texas is seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Attorney to join its Killeen office. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for an attorney with a strong litigation mindset and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured clients. The successful candidate will guide clients through every stage of their legal journey—from intake to resolution—while leading a team and strategically managing a caseload. Location:

• Killeen, TX

Duties:

• Develop and present clients' personal stories to insurance companies, mediators, or opposing counsel

• Deliver exceptional client service and maintain regular communication throughout the legal process

• Lead and manage a support team (paralegals, case managers, etc.) with a focus on collaboration and results

• Handle all aspects of pre-litigation case development, including investigation, demand drafting, and negotiations

• Provide litigation support when necessary, including motions, depositions, and mediations

• Contribute strategic insights to improve case value and firm efficiency

• Maintain accountability for case outcomes and team performance

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in personal injury or related legal field

• Proven success managing caseloads in a fast-paced, client-centered environment

• Leadership experience with small legal teams or pods preferred

• Willingness to take initiative and maintain urgency in all phases of case work

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Skills:

• Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook

• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities

• Team leadership, accountability, and communication excellence
