A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-to-senior level Associate to join its Commercial Litigation Practice in Seattle. This role involves representing high-profile clients across a wide range of industries in complex litigation matters. Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years of experience and be ready to contribute meaningfully to a collaborative, fast-paced, and sophisticated legal team. Duties

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters, including:

  • Business disputes (corporate, LLC, and partnership conflicts)

  • Class actions

  • Contract disputes

  • Real estate, lending, and leasing disputes

• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and settlement agreements

• Conduct legal research and write memoranda and briefs

• Participate in court appearances, hearings, and client meetings

• Handle large-scale document reviews and productions

• Collaborate with partners and team members on litigation strategies and case management

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation

• Strong background in managing discovery, drafting motions, and taking/defending depositions

• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated commitment to client service and legal excellence

• Experience with Am Law 100 firms is a plus

• Must be admitted to practice in the state of Washington or eligible for admission

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials required

• Law Review or Journal experience is preferred

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Washington (or eligibility to become admitted)

• Strong courtroom presence is a plus
