Job Overview:

Job Details:

• Prepare, enhance, annotate, and automate template documents.
• Curate and organize forms, precedents, and other legal know-how.
• Collaborate with the legal education team to develop training and educational content.
• Coordinate with attorneys across practice groups and other personnel to review, update, and contribute to practice resources and external publications.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments in private companies, life sciences regulatory, and digital health practices, preparing summaries and alerts and ensuring incorporation into practice resources.
• Develop content for firm publications, teach-ins, and external-facing resources.
• Assist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and resources.
• Participate in resource, knowledge management, practice innovation, and technology projects.
• Perform any other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed attorney.
• 3-5 years of experience in a US corporate/transactional practice.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
• Experience working with larger, later-stage private companies and handling various transactions and day-to-day counseling issues.
• Background or interest in life sciences and digital health preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects, coordinating with attorneys and stakeholders.
• Associate experience in running closings and coordinating diligence/disclosures on transactions is advantageous.
• Detailed drafting and analysis skills for template documents.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission.
