A distinguished law firm located in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced attorney with a background in employment litigation to join its growing legal team. This position presents an opportunity to engage in complex labor-related disputes and advise a broad range of clients on evolving workplace issues. The ideal candidate will bring litigation experience, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to manage a dynamic caseload involving diverse employment law matters.

Duties:

• Manage and defend lawsuits involving employment claims across various legal forums

• Represent employers during administrative proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and courtroom litigation

• Provide legal advice and preventative guidance to businesses on workplace compliance and HR-related concerns

• Draft legal documents and arguments in class action, wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, and contract disputes

• Engage in strategic client counseling, with a focus on risk mitigation and regulatory adherence

• Conduct workplace training sessions related to employment law topics

• Participate in case strategy development and litigation planning with internal and client teams

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of relevant litigation experience, with an emphasis on labor and employment law matters

• Proficiency in managing employment defense cases from inception through resolution

• Familiarity with agency practices and procedures at both the state and federal levels

• Demonstrated success in courtroom advocacy and legal analysis

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar (in good standing)

Skills:

• Strong legal research and drafting capabilities

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines

• Proficient in litigation strategy, negotiation, and dispute resolution
