Job Overview: A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a skilled Trucking/Transportation Associate Attorney to work closely with lead attorneys on all phases of litigation, emphasizing strategic thinking to meet client objectives.

Duties:

• Collaborate with lead attorneys on rapid response investigations following catastrophic losses.
• Conduct case evaluation and reporting.
• Manage discovery processes.
• Conduct depositions and court appearances.
• Prepare and deliver trial presentations.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Admission to the Georgia Bar, no exceptions.
• Experience in all trucking and transportation litigation phases, including pre-suit investigation, discovery, and motions practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Excellent research and writing skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Georgia Bar.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of trucking and transportation laws and regulations.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
