Duties:
Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters, including complex commercial litigation and employment law.
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
Appear in Massachusetts state and federal courts for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues to develop case strategies.
Provide legal counsel and representation to clients, ensuring thorough and effective communication.
Support the development of an active trial practice in civil litigation.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact and case management.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on complex commercial litigation or employment law preferred.
Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding academic credentials.
Experience practicing in Massachusetts state and federal courts.
Desire to develop an active trial practice and manage a diverse caseload.
Ability to interact with clients and manage significant client relationships.
Admission to practice in Massachusetts.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in civil litigation, with experience in commercial and employment law matters.
Excellent writing and legal research abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
Ability to manage a diverse caseload with significant client interaction.
