Duties

• Provide legal counseling and representation in education law matters

• Assist in handling special education cases, including administrative hearings

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and correspondence

• Interpret and apply state and federal education laws and regulations

• Communicate with school district personnel, administrators, and other stakeholders

• Support litigation efforts as needed under the supervision of senior attorneys

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in legal practice, with a preference for public sector or education law

• Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to collaborate and contribute within a team environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic record preferred

• Law school transcript required for consideration

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in California (Required)
