Duties:

• Handle a variety of civil litigation cases from inception through trial
• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in litigation matters
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
• Conduct legal research and analysis to build strong cases
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary
• Collaborate with partners and associates on complex legal matters
• Effectively communicate with clients to keep them informed of case progress
• Negotiate settlements and develop strategies to achieve client goals

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation
• Admission to the Maryland Bar (Admission to the D.C. and Virginia Bars is a plus)
• Proven experience managing a diverse caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
• Ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and tact
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to make sound legal judgments

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active Bar membership in Maryland (D.C. and Virginia Bar admissions preferred)

Certifications:

• Bar admission in Maryland is mandatory
• Additional Bar admissions in D.C. and Virginia are advantageous
