A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Attorney in Baltimore, MD, to join their Employment Practice Group. This senior position involves advising clients on management-side employment issues, with a focus on litigation and compliance matters. The role requires independent work within a collaborative team environment.

Duties

• Respond to claims filed with federal, state, and local agencies and courts.
• Advise clients on EEO issues, wage and hour laws, and leave law compliance.
• Conduct workplace investigations and training sessions.
• Draft position statements, court filings, and other legal documents.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in employment law, preferably on the management side.
• Litigation experience is a significant plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience with labor law is a plus but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland.

Skills
