Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join their Probate, Guardianship, and Estate Planning team in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will have over five years of legal practice experience and a strong interest in developing expertise in these areas. No prior experience in probate, guardianship, or estate planning is required, as training and mentorship will be provided.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, petitions, briefs, trusts, wills, and other legal documents.
• Develop case strategy and manage files from inception through resolution.
• Represent clients in probate, guardianship, and estate planning matters.
• Appear in court for hearings and contested matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written advocacy.
• Work closely with clients, opposing counsel, fiduciaries, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with a highly experienced legal team dedicated to exceptional client service.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Nevada (or ability to become licensed promptly).
• Minimum 5 years of legal practice experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage cases while working collaboratively with a team.
• Professionalism, sound judgment, and a client-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Litigation experience.
• Courtroom and hearing experience.
• Experience managing complex legal matters and communicating with clients.
• Probate, guardianship, estate planning, or trust administration experience is welcome but not required.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications
