Spring Internship
The internship program is an exciting opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain experience in a professional setting, participate in the legislative process, and experience democracy at work. Interns can gain a comprehensive understanding of the political process as well as practice practical skills that will help with preparation for future pursuits. Interns work closely with staff throughout the State to develop a thorough knowledge of local issues and constituent needs. Will support office staff and answer constituent calls, conduct research, and monitor local news outlets for daily developments. State interns have the opportunity to attend events with the Senator, such as constituent events and town hall meetings. Should have a record of academic excellence and a strong interest in public service. Preference is given to Delaware residents.
