Duties

• Represent clients in various insurance defense cases, from pre-litigation to trial.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Engage in client consultations and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare and manage case files, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials, with opportunities to take the lead in proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement case strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to provide updates and advice.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in insurance defense law or related legal practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting legal documents and client correspondence.
• Experience handling insurance defense cases, including litigation.
• Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and prioritize tasks under deadlines.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• Desire to grow within the firm and contribute to the development of junior associates.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the Florida State Bar in good standing.
