A reputable law firm is looking for an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its expanding practice in Mineola, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial real estate law, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, purchase and sale agreements, and loan documents. This position offers an opportunity to work directly with clients and handle complex real estate transactions. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong decision-making abilities, business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Draft and review commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, and loan documents.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate transactions.
• Advise clients on real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
• Manage and oversee real estate transactions from inception to completion.
• Provide legal counsel to developers, financial institutions, and private clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and offer practical solutions to complex legal issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure transaction success.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and client needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
• Proven track record in drafting and negotiating real estate documents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound, thoughtful decisions in a business context.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
