This role involves advocating for clients in claims against car manufacturers and dealers, requiring a dedicated and discovery-driven professional with strong communication skills.

Duties

• Develop trial strategy and assume first chair responsibility for trials.
• Conduct and oversee complex research projects.
• Interface with specialized outside counsel on behalf of clients.
• Draft moving papers and oppositions on complex issues.
• Appear at hearings for motions and oppositions.
• Conduct depositions of key witnesses and experts.
• Collaborate on policy development and client communication improvements.
• Resolve issues promptly as they arise.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the California Bar.
• At least 10 years of litigation and trial experience.
• Experience in Arbitration, Coordinated Proceedings, and Multi-District Litigation preferred.
• Strong client communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and legal timekeeping programs.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member in good standing of the California Bar.
