Duties:

• Conduct public record reviews to identify title discrepancies and recommend resolutions

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other filings related to quiet title actions

• Perform legal research and apply findings to develop case strategies

• Analyze delinquent property tax records for litigation preparation

• Represent clients in court proceedings concerning quiet title and related matters

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders

• Monitor case progress and maintain organized documentation of case developments

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in South Carolina, or scheduled to take the SC Bar in 2025

• Familiarity with South Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure

• Prior exposure to civil litigation preferred

• Proven ability to handle legal research and articulate clear, practical conclusions

• Strong analytical skills and a conscientious approach to complex issues

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a close-knit team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission (or pending admission) to the South Carolina Bar
