The successful candidate will work with leading clients across various industries, addressing complex data privacy and security issues in high-profile compliance and transactional matters.

Duties

• Advise clients on compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
• Negotiate privacy and security components of commercial services agreements.
• Handle privacy and security aspects of corporate transactions, including M&A deals and IPOs.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Lead initiatives with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in privacy and cyber law.
• Experience with commercial contracts and corporate transactional work.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Superior verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Aptitude for technology and understanding of online technologies preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• CIPP certification preferred.
