A law firm in Johnson City, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a federal clerkship background, superior academic credentials, and exceptional writing and analytical skills. Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing is highly desirable, and the successful candidate will have meaningful involvement in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale.

Duties:

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in all aspects of discovery, including Electronic Discovery.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication.
• Assist in trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit management.
• Represent clients in federal and state court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution forums.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and client communications effectively.
• Stay abreast of legal developments and case law relevant to ongoing matters.
• Contribute to firm marketing and business development efforts.

Requirements:

• 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Federal clerkship background strongly preferred.
• Distinguished academic record.
• Superior writing and analytical capabilities.
• Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing highly desirable.
• Active law license in good standing.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
